Week 6



Phew! I cut my hair last week and I lost a pound (weighed myself the next day) BUT despite that, I still lost 3 lbs. Current weight is 227.4! From the 240, I feel great and super ecstatic. Becky and I had a crazyyyy ab class this morning, I was dying. The instructor warned us about getting out of bed tomorrow. Yeah, I think we will have to just roll out. lol.

I'm looking forward to getting our fat analysis done again here in a few weeks :-)

PS notice a difference? its just the tight spandex pants holding in the rolls







I couldn't feel a difference but I am starting to SEE a difference. Seeing the progress 6 weeks has given us helps visualize progress and is the perfect encouragement for us to reach our goals. Seeing is believing. I can tell Michelle is dropping lbs like it's her business!! I am so proud of us. After we reach our goal weights, we need a girls night to go out and eat a lobster tail, steak or something. Mmm, she's going to see me working extra hard at the gym today! And it is the morning for me post crazy ab class and it hurts a little but to the gym we go today. Hopefully we can start going to this same instructor twice a week. She really knows her stuff and I like that. I've lost 1 lb. That puts me at 201 lb even after a fun weekend of not eating as great as I normally do. But definitely watched portions.

Week 5



Wellllll week 4 sucked. Lost a pound on the bright side, but I was so hungry i pigged out over the weekend. Today, Monday I am back in track. Becky and I did an ab class, which we will be paying for in the morning :)

current weight: 232, down 8 lbs from week 1.








Week 5 is off to a good start. I think we are both averaging about 1 lb loss per week. I think that is GREAT! I would rather be loosing than gaining. I weighed 202 this morning. This week my goal is to loose that 2 lbs and hopefully push down below the 200 mark by next week. By working on my abs almost everyday, I have noticed my pants fitting better. Goodbye baby/love handles. Hello Sexy Body!

We will measure again this Wednesday to see the progress we have made. I am expecting to see some results. ::crosses fingers::

Every time I start to slow down on the elliptical, I can see Jillian from Biggest Loser saying "YOU WANT THIS!!" and I start to push harder. That has been my inspiration thus far. I may not be the biggest loser, but I am a loser none the less and proud of it!

week 4


Tada! lost one lousy pound this last week, but it's ok because I still LOST, even if I had birthday cake :)

and I am beginning to notice that my clothes are fitting better, my under the chin fat has been reduced...

I need to work harder at the gym though, so watch out week 5!








Hello Week 4! We are off to a strong start. I decided to do my photographing with tighter fitting clothes. I couldn't tell from the prior photographs if I was loosing or not. We can always tell our progress from pictures. Even if the scale only says a fraction less than what we were.

I am feeling really pumped. I think it's because of Michelle and our Blog! Thanks you two (even though you're one in the same!)

Week 3


Well, I didn't take my picture yesterday, and my beloved purple shirt you always see has now been accidentally bleached but i"ll continue to wear it...

this photo is from today, I finally have my own scale so I'm trusting any weight loss from now on. According to this scale I weigh 233.8 this morning, so "down 6 lbs!"
but I'm not holding my breath.

In other news, I got my fat analysis done, and I'm 45% fat. We get them done again in 6 weeks, I'm excited to find any difference.
I've been doing the gym thing 5 days a week. I'm losing weight in my BOOBS, which were already non-existent :( but I did notice my side fat (where the bra comes over) isn't bulging out grossly like before. That's something.



Here are are, week 3. I feel as though I am starting to see results, slowly. As far as dieting goes, I am not calorie counting per-say but I find myself making better decisions when it comes to eating because I know how hard it is to burn the calories. Before, I would eat fat free ice cream because I thought it was better for me. Reality is, it's not. It tastes like eating cardboard. So why waste the time and calories? I just don't eat junk like that at all anymore. I drink water all day long. And sometimes tea. (Jasmine green tea sweetened with honey). I have never been a soda drinker and cut back on the juice when I talked to a nutritionist. That was a bad habit I carried from college: drinking my vitamins. Guess that's a part of why the weight went on and I was always sick back then. Here's to a new healthier start for Michelle and I.

Oh yea, I was pinched too. My body percentage was 41 or 42%. Maybe 41.5% and that's why i can't remember exactly. I weighed in at 204 at the beginning of week 3. Let's see how this next week goes. ::WISHING US GOOD LUCK::
